Pawnshop Guitar

would like to welcome our friends, fans, and family to our web site. We are an Indiana based band, specializing in a variety of types of music, to keep everyone happy and dancing.
This group came together when Harold came out of musical retirement some 6 years ago. This combination of musicians makes for a very exciting show, leaving the crowd shouting for more.
The name of the band came to us one day during rehearsal accidently. We tossed around names for weeks, when suddenly Harold asked one of the guitar players about the quality of his equipment. (an inside joke) Hence the name.
We take pride in our show and practice often to keep that edge.

So Come on in and join our.......

"PSG" blows us away !

    • Thanks, Ninetenth Green, for the compliments, we enjoyed performing for you, and the cause was good. It was a nice evening for an outdoor event, (eventually). I also got to revisit some "old" high school buddies, which was really nice.

Karen, what can I say. Thank you so much. You know it's funny, our kids are like, "what's the facination with the music from back then"? When you grow up during that era it's means everything to you. One day he'll look back and really appreciate music from "his" era. Well............maybe not. ha ha I promise, I will keep the calendar updated.

    • Dear PSGB:

My husband and I attended the concert last night at the 19th Green and as always, we loved every minute from first song to last. You guys are so amazingly talented! We first saw the band on the Riverstage several summers ago after grabbing a bite at the former "Jimmy's" restaurant. The following summer we caught the band at Kingfish on the River. This lucky happening has occurred several more times at Kingfish, always by accident. On each occasion, we did not know you guys would be there, but we were so glad to see you again. This summer, determined not to leave hearing PSGB to chance, I visited your website and viewed the calendar. So this summer, we've been "blessed" to be able to see and hear PSGB twice! Last night my 26 year old son asked his father this question? "Why has Mom become such a "groupie" for this band? The answer is simple. PSGB makes me smile! You and your music make this 61 year old Oldham County Mom feel real good! Thank you! Please keep on doing what you do and be sure to keep the calendar up to date so we don't miss your concerts. We love PSGB!

      Blessings,

      Karen Grimes
